I hope you are well. I’m Dr. Ziette Hayes, Dean of the James T. George School of Business. I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt invitation to help secure the future of our promising business students.
Over the years, we have demonstrated incredible strength, resilience, and commitment to excellence. Based on recent student feedback, two of their most pressing needs for staying on their academic path are scholarship support and mental health awareness/resources. In alignment with our school's commitment to "Elevate Academic Excellence," one of our top six goals, we are hosting the Legacy Leaders Scholarship Benefit. This special scholarship fundraising event is aimed at providing scholarships to assist with closing the financial gap and encouraging our students during this challenging environment.
Your gift will continue to pay it forward, as you let your life do the singing. It is so important to “reach back while climbing”. I have continued to serve Hampton for 22yrs after my corporate career and remain dedicated to the success of our students. Likewise, our beloved Assistant Dean & Hampton Alum, Dr. Sylvia Rose, has continued to let her life do the singing, long after law school and a corporate career. Please help us encourage the next generation of business leaders stay in the race so they can pay it forward.
